Amanda works from a cognitive behavioral approach as well as expressive therapies. Amanda provides a safe and supportive space to express past hurts and explore future possibilities.
Amanda has advanced training in trauma informed practices, narrative therapy, ecological systems theory and motivational interviewing. These tools help clients to manage stress and prevent continued trauma in daily life. Amanda has an interest in healthy relationships. She is currently researching and working with feelings of abandonment and attachment.
