KACIE MITTERANDO: LMSW
ANXIETY, MEN’S MENTAL HEALTH, SUBSTANCE ABUSE, DEPRESSION, RELATIONSHIP COUNSELING, LYME DISEASE
Kacie believes that therapy is a safe space where individuals can feel comfortable and supported, disclosing their daily stresses, as well as some of their most personal struggles. Her view is one where therapy provides a non-judgmental approach with appropriate support. Prior to joining a private practice, Kacie worked with individuals suffering from substance abuse, severe mental illness, domestic violence and trauma. Kacie has a special interest in men’s mental health.
The level of participation she uses during sessions varies from person to person. She values listening to an individual's story, struggles and concerns thoroughly. But helps each client on a case-by-case basis. She believes that homework and activities are not only useful for clients, but also help to keep focus on progressive healing. Kacie works with each client based on their individual needs and preferences.
